Admission Application Procedure

The registration form for TIGPS Nabadwip can be submitted through both offline and online modes.

Manual Registration: - The offline registration form can be collected from the school office upon payment of the registration fee. After filling out the form, it must be submitted to the school office. Upon submission, the applicant will receive an admit card with the scheduled date for interaction/observation.

Online Registration: - The registration form is available on the school's official website (www.tigps.in). After successfully submitting the online form, each applicant will be assigned a unique online user ID, which must be referenced in all future communications. The registration fee must be paid on the day of interaction/observation. The date of interaction/observation will be communicated to the guardian of the applicant via the registered mobile number and email ID.

Mere allotment of a user ID does not guarantee admission. Selection is based on the applicant's merit and performance in the entrance examination. The school’s decision regarding admissions is final.

Following documents need to be presented during the time of registration

  • A photocopy of the Birth Certificate issued by Kolkata Municipal Corporation/Municipality/Registrar, attested by a Gazetted Officer. Affidavits or photocopies of attested birth certificates are not acceptable.
  • A photocopy of the Report Card from the last school attended (not applicable for Play Group, Nursery, and KG).
  • One stamp-size photograph of the child.

(For online applicants, these documents must be submitted on the day of interaction/observation.)

The final list of selected students for each standard will be displayed on the school’s notice board and official website. Selected candidates must complete the admission formalities within the stipulated time, which includes:

  • Submission of a duly signed admission form by both parents.
  • Payment of fees within the due date (in cash or demand draft).
  • Presentation of the original Birth Certificate at the time of admission.

Following are some important documents that are to be presented during final admission:

  • Four recent passport-size color photographs of the student (3.5cm × 2.5cm) and one passport-size photograph of each parent.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last attended school (not applicable for Play Group to Class I).
  • For students transferring from Class VIII onwards, the TC must be countersigned by the District Education Officer/Regional Officer.

Fee Refund Policy:

  • The admission fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • The security deposit is refundable only if a written intimation is submitted to the school authority within 30 days from the date of admission and before the commencement of regular classes.
  • Only students admitted with all required documents are eligible for a security deposit refund.
  • No refund will be provided if the student withdraws without submitting a written intimation within the specified timeframe.
  • Any outstanding dues to the school cannot be adjusted against the security deposit.

Withdrawal policy: Students requesting a Transfer Certificate mid-academic year will be required to pay fees for the entire academic session.
